Course Overview: Developing in Agentic AI Systems

Software teams are moving from AI-assisted autocomplete to agents that take on whole tasks: fixing issues, opening pull requests, running tests. This course covers the GitHub Copilot coding agent and agent mode, planning and reviewing agent work, integrating external tools via the Model Context Protocol (MCP), and the guardrails — branch protections, reviews, policies — that keep agentic development safe and productive.
